Upcoming Event: Conservation on Tap in Arabi, La.

Join us on May 18th for Conservation on Tap - an opportunity to talk about coastal restoration with other sportsmen and women.

For 7,000 years the Mississippi River snaked across southern Louisiana, depositing sediment from 31 states and two Canadian provinces across its delta. Today, the Mississippi River Delta’s natural cycles of change and rebirth have been constricted by human activities, laying the groundwork for today's ecological collapse. There’s no one solution to all the problems. Instead, we need a variety of restoration projects, working together, to rebuild habitat that has been lost and to sustain new habitat into the future.

On May 18th, sportsmen and women in St. Bernard Parish can join Vanishing Paradise, Louisiana's Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) and officials from St. Bernard Parish to learn about restoration projects in the area as well as opportunities to get involved.

Free evening includes presentation from CPRA, brewery tour, raffle prizes, food and beer! You are welcome to bring a hunting or fishing buddy.
